Attack on Pearl Harbor
The attack on Peal harbor was a great shock to American people and thrust the United States into World War II. Public support for U.S. isolationism disappeared.
" ...we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain... Remember Dec. 7!" This line is from Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg address, and was a well-know, patriotic quote.
