Tuskagee Airmen
In 1941, Congress forced the Army Air Corps to form an all-black unit. The unit that formed was commonly known as the Tuskegee Airmen, (having trained at Tuskegee Army Airfield) and were the first black pilots to serve in the U.S. military. They were dedicated, determined and served with distinction.
